Does anyone remember the custom "cockpit" guy?
Several years ago there was this guy who made custom cockpit inserts for the w124 series.
it replaces the obnoxious flashing seat belt cockpit insert. don't know what happened to him..... i think he was in the west mountains region.

center light above the rearview mirror..
the cab probably doesn't have one....

oh..it's no problem keeping it the way it is...
He made my son a custom one that said "Matt's Benz".... so that's what flashes for a couple of seconds every time you start the car up... very cool... it was like 20 dollars shipped.
