WTB: 126 SEC front brake dust shields
 

I am looking for a set of dust shields for a 126 Coupe 85-91
May also be interested in the calipers / rotors if decent...they're pretty cheap on the parts market anyway.

By dust shields are you talking about the ones that are thin metal and just keep the wheels clean ? If so I would caution you against it, instead get a good set
of ceramic pads and you will be much happier.

I was referring to the factory brake disc shields not the "dust" shields that are commonly sold to the uninformed.....I agree with you on the ceramic pads....they are great.

I am trying to mount larger discs to the front of my SL, I think the 126 coupe SEC parts will work. Rotor and disc will, but the backing plate on the disc is too small and hits the larger disc. So I need a 126 backing plate.

It's not a common item, the EPC lists it as a "Protection Plate" but nobody knows what you are referring to if you call it that.
