Taking possession of a 1989 E300 tomorrow. There are a few parts I need for my 1987 300TDT driver. Everything else must go.
I will update this thread with pictures once I have the car. |
Several parts are gone. working on it more tonight.
Will get some pics. Does anyone know if the Tranny will fit a '92 300E ? |
Wow, those headlights aren't very flattering to the car, are they?

i will put the lamps on ebay and see what happens. To think someone actually paid money for these things at one point... ! |
I'm interested on the grill insert and the horns (if they are the round Bosch Hi/Lo) Let me know how much if they are available.

What rear diff does it have? 3.07?
If so how much shipped to Canada? Thanks Martin |
It appears I am unable to edit the original post, this car is a 320E.

E320 would be '94/'95, and have the dual-cam M104 engine.

Then Clearly I am confusing myself. Thanks guys.
Here are some pics of parts. I have to get the car moved from my friends shop where it is living at the moment. They need more space. Left doors are good, right side damaged. All four door panels are perfect. Switches are good although in pics the are minus the buttons as we were removing the panels to get a couple door straps. Power windows are all good, door locks operate fine. Climate control worked. Sunroof motor runs, but doesnt seem to operate the roof properly. My TD has a dead (inop) sunroof, so I may see if the the sedan's motor will remedy that issue. Seats are perfect. Mirrors are good and work, although they appear to have chrome covers on them, was this factory? They look dumb to me. Anyone wish to comment on parts to grab before I bid farewell? I will check the diff for quattro Horns are round and available, EdCarls. I am willing to sell this grille or the one on my TD which ever nets me more $$. |

Here are more pics.
I need blue interior pieces for my 1986 W126 300SDL. For my 1987 W124 300TDT, I also need a left rear palomino arm rest or parts to fix it, a tach amp, and a front right corner marker if any wishes to trade. I have removed the Mono Wiper assembly as well, but plan to keep it as a spare (make me an offer). |

Here is the motor. It has a miss, not sure why. I have spent zero time trying to figure out the miss issue. Perhaps the motor has value? maybe they are a dime/dozen?

more parts pulled off, it has a new radiator and what looks like previous trans work. Is the torque converter supposed to look shiny and blue?
Attached is a pic of the code stamped into the trans. 124 270 43 01 722 358 0 3141980 Anyone share how to find the code on the diff? Making one revolution of the tire, it appears to have been almost 3 rotations of the drive shaft. I dont think this has the 3.31 that Quattro was asking about. |
