It's here in Raleigh now! Went over to Crashone's house last night with the mighty two battery and big ol' alternator equipped Dodge and a pair of jumper cables or two. Bled the lines, cranked it for a bit, and VROOOM...... fired up and runs PERFECT ! Drove it down the road a bit and the tranny shifts fine, too! Rest of it is a big pile of (bleep), but who cares?

Thanks CSCMC1 !!!! We owe you. The radio is crap in it, but I have a good working Grand Prix (except the tape player is a bit flaky) if that is what you were looking for. Have some newer stuff, too. PM me your address and I will send one along to you.

For cripesake!

You know it was amatuer hour on a Jeep forum, when the guy was clueless about anything but "it's a Mercedes, it has 4-doors, and it's a diesel engine." Got a laugh out of reading it.

Unbelievable that the engine and tranny run strong, but the DB Jeep guy knew jacksquat about it!

That is one ugly azz sea-salt rusting car, but I'd drive it anywhere if that's all I had!
