W126, Etc. Rear Headrests

I have a set of rear headrests removed from a 1985 560SEL W126, without the foam padding or upholstery. You can transfer some matching upholstery onto them or remove the legs and install them on some front headrests.

It looks like they will fit just about any older model Mercedes that uses headrests. I know for a fact that the legs are shorter than the ones used in the W116 chassis (though they would fit). Be creative with them, I don't know.

I paid $15 for these at a wrecking yard last year because I was going to install them in a fintail but then I lost interest and just want my money back. $15 plus shipping.

I'd like to get rid of these. Just transfer the foam and covers from another set of headrests (or remove the nice chrome legs from the aluminum frame and transplant into any headrests) and you'll have a set of rear headrests with the legs that push the headrests forward. They'll work with W126 headrests covers and might even work with W123 and W116 headrest covers. The legs are shorter than what the W116 cars use, though. Standard with and the legs should fit into all older Mercedes seats.

These are perfect for those who would want to install rear headrests on W123 sedans and coupes ONLY. Wagons have different style (rods are more straight).

They might fit the front seats, but the curvature of the rods will not be suitable for front seat application.
