WTB: W124 steering box

In my quest to make my W124 300D behave better steering-wise, I have determined that I ought to try swapping out the steering box. Mine is a 1992, if that matters, and I'd be looking for an inexpensive option, obviously, as I'm not certain this is going to solve the problem I am encountering. I am essentially out of options at this point, however, and this is the logical next step.

Thanks, all!

That's a good question -- I'll have to check the PN and get back to you to answer that. Thanks!

Try looking for a Sportline steering gear box. I think they're geared tighter.
