Complete 4 speed set up for your 123

I have a complete 123 4 speed manual setup from a euro car that was parted out because of an accident. I have everything, pedals, linkage, transmission, fly wheel, clutch etc.,etc. I understand that shipping is tuff but if you have a cool idea to make a turbo stick shift car or just a standard 300d manual, here it is. Has 166,000 on transmission. Location is in Sacramento,California $850

300D Euro car. Not a 240. Car was still drivable after accident so everything is in great shape.

I'm also willing to trade for a running mercedes diesel of this era if your local. Obviously something in the 1000$ range needing cosmetic attention. I may be able to throw in a couple bucks if your car is worth a "little bit" more.

I'm a bit interested but can't commit now. If you haven't sold it in a month, feel free to e-mail me and ask. I could come pick up if I buy.

Thanks,
Ken

Ok Ken, no problem. Thanks for the bump winmutt. I think its a fair deal, I can't afford to give it away since I really do want to keep it. I guess im willing to sell it or keep it. If I got traded a running car, that would be cooler. Im tired of driving my tow truck and motorcycle everywhere. The mercedes I have now is gonna go up for sale next week and I don't want to drive a car that is for sale. I really think I liked my old 240 4 speed manual.

I pulled the same set up from a 617 euro about three years ago and have yet to sell it. The only part that sold was the flywheel. It's still in my garage in FL. I hope you can sell yours, it may be worth it to keep it as a spare when the automatic fails.

Funny, the part I could really do without is the flywheel.

I am still thinking about this. I've got to consider the finances. If you're willing to sell the whole set-up minus flywheel, what would that price be?

Thanks,
Ken

Remember the flywheel for the 617 is different than the 616, and those that have put a manny from a 616 with the 616 flywheel have reported significant vibrations at certain lower rpms. Some have said they cured the vibrations, but the correct length driveshaft is better to start with- if you are gonna put this into a w123 with a 617. If not then....

I am aware. And just to be 100% clear, my question about price was to the OP, as I could avoid shipping costs buying from him.
