Hi: Two cylinders just blew up on my daily driver (1985 280SE Euro with 127,000 miles) and I am looking for a new used engine fast. Any leads gratefully appreciated.

Location? There may be several yard engines in the $200/$300 price range- but of course one cannot tell how they were running when they came into the yards here in south florida.

There was a nice one in a 126 down at the LKQ in Houston when I was last there... car had to have been running as it had a Sanden compressor conversion and looked fairly clean.

Car was totaled out as it had a very minor LR hit. Depressing.
