Distributor vacuum advance for 1984 190E 2.3

The saga with my car continues. I just replaced the fuel distributor on this little Benz. The car is running vastly better, but now I have discovered that the vacuum advance on the distributor is leaking. None of the parts cars that are available to me have a distributor with an advance. It's the weekend, and do any of you know if the advance unit can be replaced as an assembly, or am I looking at a whole distributor? I sure hope not, as I've been seeing what folks are asking on eBone for the whole thing.

Thanks in advance for advise.

UPDATE: I have found a nearly new OEM replacement vacuum advance locally. It sure makes a difference in performance!! Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate it. Bruce

A reply to myself.

I have just found that I can get just the vacuum advance for my distributor. So, has anybody got one they want to sell? Please, no leakers!

Thanks for reading!

Bruce
