This one had been manhandled before I got it and you can only baby it so much before it literally crumpled. It had the light brown leather on it, but any one will do, can always replace the leather.

I see you are in Mi, don't know how close you are to south bend In, but there is a complete 240 d with tan window cranks and a 4 speed at LKQ.

Hi, I am new to this forum, but am the original owner of a 1983 240D with manual windows. The interior window crank on my driver's side BROKE when we had to replace the regulator, so now I'm trying to find another window crank that will actually FIT my car. Haven't had much luck, so am trying here. Mine originally had the "palomino" colored MB Tex interior color, but at this point, any color manual crank that will fit the 1983 240D would be a major plus. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are they the same as were used on the early 190Es?

Sorry to be so late in responding, but no, I don't believe the manual window crank for my car is the same as the 190E's. If I'm successful, a photo of the window crank on my front passenger side will be shown below. As you can see the cover is in the palomino color, which is basically covering up the metal underside. I've tried the manual crank for the 1982 240D, but it does NOT fit properly, it keeps coming loose and falls off.

Any info. on obtaining a replacement (regardless of color) is appreciated.
