Oil cooler repair kit
Hi, I have a set of screwed nipples and the tap to go with them for sale (it turns out that the nipples aren't universal - I bought them to go with the cooler on my 240D, and the 1979 240D hoses have smaller diameters).
Nipples MB part #915013-013002 18mm x 1.5mm tap All you need to perform a repair of your oil cooler is a hacksaw to cut off the damaged thread portion of the oil cooler, a file to file the top of the welded nut smooth, and a 21/32" drill to prepare the hole for the tap. I think I paid about $12 for the nipples at the dealer, and another $12 plus shipping for the tap through the internet. They are obviously unused. I will ship the whole package to a forum member for $20. Kurt
