FS: W126 500 560 Tri-Y exhaust manifolds + downpipes

It was taken out of an ’86 560 SEC 300hp euro car with 92.000km on it. That car was in the South of France so may have never been driven on salty roads. As a result all manifolds and down-pipes are in good shape, not pitted or weakened by rust. I brought it back with me from my last trip to Europe.

This Try-Y system and down pipes will fit any 5.0L and 5.6L M117 engine and will be a direct fit on any W126 500 or 560 SE, SEL and SEC. This is original Mercedes-Benz equipment, not after-market reproduction.

According to some documented dyno runs on this forum (http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w126...ml#post1874969) this Tri-Y system will yield a good 25 to 30 additional hp over a US set-up, and 10 to 15 additional hp over a euro logs system. But most importantly, it will increase torque and widen the torque band making the car much more pleasant to drive. It is the best “bang for the buck” when it comes to increase performance on W126 500 and 560 cars, especially on US models.
