WTB drivers window motor for 82 300SD
Looks like I have narrowed down my trouble to the power window motor. $250+- is a bit steep new....any good used ones out there? Thanks.

The W126 body car had a possibility of three different regulators installed with no real way to know which car had what. Each regulator design had a different motor. The way to tell is to count the teeth on your motor. The 123 motor will not fit.

Correction. The SD had motor # 001 820 42 42 with 14 tooth gear up to VIN 074556, and two different motors from VIN 074557. Could be either motor # 002 820 14 42 with 8 teeth OR motor # 001 820 97 42 with 10 teeth depending on the type of regulator installed. It is still best to go ahead and remove it and count the number of teeth on the motor.
