WTB: trunk lock piece from 1986 300SDL
I am looking for a small plastic piece from the trunk lock mechanism in a 1986 300SDL.
The piece is a 1 inch long, 1/4 diameter cylinder shape. One end is threaded and screws onto a push rod inside of the trunk lock housing. This rod push/pulls the large lock rod that slides through the locking eye bolted to the trunk lid. The other end is an open circle and snaps over a steel ball which is attached to the trunk lock cylinder. On my car it was black.
