240D front drive shaft

can be auto or stick, I need to cut it to fit my 5 speed. 300D shafts are too short. havent seen a 240 in the yard for quite a while. I have some things to trade, triangle clips etc or cash. not in a hurry but would like to cross this part off my needs list.

As far as I am aware the "stick" version should slot straight in. Isn't the 4 speed box the same length as the 5?

the difference between a 4spd and 5 spd is 3-3/4 inches, the 240D auto which is the closest to a 300D/5spd combination is still long by 2-1/8

I have a spreadsheet with dimensions. I was trying to find a compatible MB stock shaft so I wouldnt have to cut, turns out they are all special depending on motor transmission combination. PM me your email and Ill send it to you, then you can extract what you like
