Free heater fan - W123?

I believe that this came out of a 300D, but I can't swear by it. I've included the tape measure in the photo so you can judge for yourself if it will work in your application. Diameter of the fan is six inches, and length end to end is about 9.25 inches. Free to good home; just pick up or pay shipping.

That's a blower motor assembly from a vehicle with a secondary firewall. The dual blower motor cage/fan setup gives it away. Depending on P/N on the item, it could be for W201, W124 or W126.

The part number is obscured, unfortunately. It looks like there is a four digit number "3293" - could be a date code of 1993? Would that be a 126 then?

hmmm, I dunno....

I'm thinking that I've never known such a fan to be in a w126 or a 123, but I could be wrong. I would suggest that it might actually be for a 114 or 115 car as I have pulled one from a 115 that looked very similiar. It's been a couple of years at least and I didn't take any measurments but the design was the same as in the picture. Anyone else care to weigh in?
