Becker Europa II radio

Becker Europa II radio

Works great, dials and push buttons work smoothly,
fantastic sound and reception.
Small flaw in plastic faceplate to the right of the am and fm
marks, about the size of a pencil eraser.

$300 plus shipping, paypal preferred.

Your asking price is a bit high. I recently sold one for around $200 in better condition.

Thanks for the replies. I'm glad I didn't sell it, I found out that the faceplate comes off and now I just need to find a faceplate to fit it in my bug. (the original intention)

WOO HOO!!!

I have the exact same radio in my 1967 VW Beetle. It looks perfect and sounds fantastic! I also searched E-Bay and found a cable that plugs into the aux input in the back of the Europa and ends in a jack that I use to plug my IPOD in. These radios had the option to be able to plug a tape player into the back of it. So my dash looks very original and when you open the glove compartment I have a plug that the IPOD plugs into. Granted this is not a true IPOD connection. It plugs into the headphone jack of the IPOD and goes into the aux input of the radio. As long as nothing is plugged into the jack, the AM and FM work normally. When you plug the cable from the IPOD into the jack, it automatically shuts off the tuner in the radio and you are a direct input to the amp which then plays your music from the Ipod. You control the volume from the Ipod and the radio.
A very nice totally hidden Ipod.
