FS: Sportline wheels - 7Jx15H2 ET42 - like new

The goal was to do a full OEM Sportline conversion on my 1994 E320. But now the military is sending me away again, and I need to pare down the items that will need to be put in storage.

After combing through all the cheap imitations and eBay "deals," I eventually found a good set of high-quality replicas then had them completely reconditioned to new condition. The wheel shop that did the work is the same shop that the local Mercedes-Benz dealer uses here in Boise, so they were done right, including use of correct MB spec silver wheel paint and clearcoat. As part of the refurb, the wheels were x-rayed for hairline cracks, checked for perfect roundness, and examined for any other imperfections.

Made in Germany by Von Heyking GmbH to OEM specifications. The German KBA number on each wheel shows they have passed stringent German quality and safety standards.

5x112 bolt pattern with 14 mm bolt holes. Also included is a set of new RAD M12x1.5 35mm shank lug bolts with R14 ball seats so they will bolt right up to any W124. No worries about having to find correct lug bolts, a new correct set are included. While the wheels have never been run or mounted with tires since reconditioning, the wheels have been test mounted and they bolt right up to my 1994 E320 and 1995 E420 with no caliper clearance issues or lug bolt issues. The offset is the correct 42 mm used in the Sportline package (41 or 42 were used by Mercedes), so you won't have any weird handling issues or premature suspension wear problems like with the cheap replicas with non-OEM spec offsets.

I have over $750 in these wheels ($350 for the wheels and lug bolts + $400 for the refurb) but realize I'll probably have to take a loss. I'll start by asking $500 plus $100 shipping. Feel free to make an offer.

These wheels are basically in like new condition. Hard to find, correct, high-quality Sportline wheels. PM me with any questions. Thanks.

How about $450 plus shipping? The offers I've received so far are just too low, sorry.

This will only cover the cost of the lug bolts and refurb, and the wheels are basically free. Perhaps not everyone shares my belief that KBA-certified wheels are better than chinese junk, since at $450 those cheapies are now priced the same as mine.

Would have been better off taking them to the aluminum recycler if I can't get at least $450

Can't really drop much lower, as it's worth it to me just to store them and keep as an extra set rather than practically giving them away, but make an offer anyway and who knows, you might catch me at a weak moment.

There's only two more weeks before I leave and I'd really like to get these out of my garage and not into long-term storage.

Sooooo.......

Price is now lowered to $400 +shipping.

Somebody will be getting a great deal on these wheels now priced at just the cost of the refurb. Wheels and lugnuts are free!

Nice rims, too bad they're not 17s

Most people (like me) wont bother spending on a set of rims if they're not at least 2 inches larger than stock.
