Kompressor C200 - Starting problem

Hi all,
Every morning I have trouble in starting my C200. I have to remove the battery and connect again to start it. But this happens only in the morning, for the rest of the day I do not have this problem. The next morning again I have to remove the battery and connect again. It does not crank also, but the lights, radio works fine.

I took the car to the local garage he suspects lambda sensor(oxygen sensor) could be problem but he told me to take the car to Mercedez service centre which I do not want to do as this would be really expensive for me.

Any one had similar experience?

The O2 sensor doesn't "kick in" until the engine reaches normal operating temperature so it shouldn't be the problem. I would guess you have a crank or cam position sensor problem. Without these signals the ecu doesn't know when to inject fuel or fire the spark plugs. Did the local garage hook up a scan tool and read any codes?

Oh, and you're in the wrong forum.
