I have a 612 that the radio works, tape does not , display kinda funky, could be refurbished for 100 or so , which would give you an ipod jack. Just had one done through Becker USA

I have a Becker Grand Prix radio that worked when I removed it from my 1986 300E to put in an upgrade (CD changer/controller, speakers, etc.). Not sure if this is the one you want though.

i think the same radio was used in the sd as well

Not molested or damaged on the face. Will remove soon and try to test, may just be fuse. Really it is "unknown" condition.

I am really just looking for one that works so I can replace the one I have now. Its an aftermarket and plays a dvd too. I prefer original equipment.
I got the car couple months ago.

I have one in my wife's 83 300TD project. I'd like to keep it as I like OE better, but it's her car and it's gonna get replaced.

I haven't yet started the car or even installed a battery, but I'll let you know either this weekend or next weekend when it get it started if it's operable.

Are you going to be putting the aftermarket in something else? Could I trade you for it?

I was planning on just selling the aftermarket.
Once you learn if yours is working, we can make a deal of course. Something fair for both of us.
