1975 280C Complete Parts Car $750 Arlington, TX

Hello Peaches,

Selling my project car I have had for a few years. I have run out of energy and don't have the cash to do the repairs I need for this car to be a good driver. It did start and run well about 6 months ago, but since then I have not done a thing to it. I installed a Weber kit to replace the Solex, but the Solex will be included with the car. After replacing the carb, since I already had a Solex rebuild kit, I went through the carb and replaced the items that were in the kit.

The one thing that is keeping me from mustering the energy to finish this car is the rust on the floorboards. I pulled the carpets this afternoon and the floorboards are weak and need to be replaced with new metal. I don't have the time/skills/money to get into all that.

A/C components are in the trunk, as are some spare parts. Tail light lenses are about 1 year old.

I will be willing to part it out in about 2 weeks assuming nobody is interested in buying the whole car.

Feel free to PM questions.

Price: $750
Location: Arlington, TX

Pictures:
(Better shots of the whole car coming tomorrow)

Good luck on the sale. It looks very good for the price. I would like to buy it but I would have to sleep in it from now on per my wife.

I wonder how much it would cost to have shipped here. I need another Mercedes like I need another hole in my head, but it would be a real shame to see this go to parts...

I saw a 114 in a local junk yard the other day and the entire floorboards were rusted out and the seats were all but falling through to the ground. Amazing how far people will drive them!

Wow. All I can say is wow.

Where was this when I spent 3x that price on a "original Cali 300cd" that probably has 2x the floor rust?

Can you take pictures of the floor? I may be able to help you sort them out given that you're so close by.
