WTB: W123 and W116 interiors, green, burgundy, & black
 

I need:
* All interior trim, door panels, and carpets in green for a long-wheelbase W116. Parts are the same as a short-wheelbase except for rear door panels, side headliner trim, and rear floormats. I am buying alabassi's seat skins in this color and now need the remaining trim to match.
* A-pillar trim, front headliner trim (above visors), rear speaker covers, and seat/headrest skins (any material) in burgundy for W123. Same as the burgundy pieces in this picture.
* Green interior trim and possibly seat skins for W123, in light or dark shades.
* Coupe rear side panels, C-pillar trim, and a rear ashtray in black.

Lastly I'm looking for perfect dashes for each chassis, and will consider different colors...

Light green is hard to find on any model or year, besdies the rarer Euros.
In the w116 interior: does it have to be from a SE/SEL or would a quality SD be of compatible interest?

Yeah, but my first Mercedes (a W115 240D) had a light green interior, I miss it. Plus I'd like to get a two-tone effect going. Check out attached images for my burgundy+palomino 300D - this is what I need the remaining burgundy pieces to complete. :)

SD is identical to SE, so that's fine for all burgundy parts. SEL has longer rear doors and side trim panels above the doors, and larger rear floormats, but is otherwise the same.

If you find W116 (especially SEL) interior in excellent condition in ANY color, let me know - I may possibly be interested - those are harder to find than W123's these days...

Seriously?? I just took my green interior 116 to the scrapper this morning! What do you need exactly? Anything? Visors are good, b pillars decent, center console good, ect. Let me know

Anything/everything - I need everything green about the interior. I've got a nickel green metallic 450SEL with a parchment interior that's not in very good shape (especially the door trim pieces & panels are pretty sorry, and I'm missing most floormats). I'd like to convert the interior to green.

I have green euro cloth w123 stuff.

I have brand new front and rear seat covers in olive green that I bought from world upholstery for my 450SEL 6.9. They are still in the box and wrapped. I ended up selling the car when I bought my Canadian spec 6.9 which had pretty decent black interior so I never got to use it.

Alabassi, are the skins leather or vinyl or cloth? Please send me a price - I was considering buying new leather from GAHH for the seats but it sounds like you might have something equally nice? What I really need to find is all the green interior for an SEL.

Dieselkraut, What is the condition? As with the W116 what I really need more are trim pieces in good shape. I've already got fairly decent cloth W123 seats from NCfriend but they are somewhat faded and worn. If yours are in nice shape I may consider them...or sounds like NCfriend wants them if I don't...

Bump. I am buying Alabassi's seat skins for the W116. Updated first post description of exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm also looking for exterior rocker sill chrome trim for both sides from an SEL, and the driver side for a SD/SE.

Bump. Found I can get the side trim new, but still looking for all the aforementioned interior parts. Have possible lead on green W116 interior in Europe... I'd really like to get the W123 coupe black bits to get my coupe into good shape, and more green W123 sedan bits to complete conversion of my 200D to green interior.

And another w116 looks long. Has faded dark blue interior along with some extra chocolate brown trim pieces stored in the trunk.


Also there is a dark BLUE coupe interior. Good deck lid!!
Remind me which is the C-pillar in the coupe? Do the rear seatbelts come out of these?
By "rear side panels" you mean bottom curved piece below the rear window?

I found the burgundy pieces I wanted, except for seat skins & seatbacks. Actually I bought seatbacks from a yard but found out later they are newer style which is a different size than the older-style of my 1980, so I can't use them.

So all I'm looking for in burgundy at this point are seat skins (specifically, just the pleated portions), old-style seat backs, and possibly a newer-style front headliner trim piece (to fit the newer-style visors that last longer).

Also still looking for the few black coupe-specific pieces mentioned above.

I now have most of a green W116 SEL interior, though am missing a few bits - most notably I need sill trim, the piece that goes at the base of the rear window (this has thumbscrews you remove from inside the trunk!), under-dash and front side trims for a left-hand-drive car (my parts came from a RHD). I'm going to buy a new carpet set. But I'd be very interested in evaluating any trim pieces in good condition.

Likewise for the W123 sedan - I would like any more green pieces that anyone can find. - I have a bunch already but not 100% and not everything is in great condition.

So if anybody has any green W116 or W123 bits especially, please let me know!
