I'm looking for a transmission for 1991 350SD. Prefer good used condition. But open to others.

Does anyone know if there are any other transmission models/numbers that will work with modifications or changes?

The 350SDL uses the same transmission. I don't know if the W140 350's trans is the same. The 3.0L would work but the shift points will be wrong.

I tried to find one of these a while ago, it is difficult. You may want to give Silver Star Transmission a call.
