FS: w123 300TD --- yes, wagon parts

Folks.

I bought this 1984 300TD today. It has a dark blue interior. The passenger front seat has been removed. The driver's floor mat is missing. It was raining, so I didn't look very hard at it. It has no engine and no transmission. Dash has been removed. :DI do have wagon cross bars.:D

I've giving NCfriend first right of refusal on this being a shell donor for his Euro wagon. It may or may not be a suitable candidate for his project. More information will be posted once I get the car home.

If it has too much rust in the corners, floors, etc., then it might not make it off my trailer. So if there's something you want wagon specific, yell quickly. I'm out of town this weekend, so it will be next week or a week from this coming Saturday before I retrieve the car. The driver's side rear door looked pretty good. I got down and looked under the edge of the door and the door was rust free. I would probably save the wagon 2nd row doors.

I might be interested in getting the top trip off the drip gutter.

I edited the original post to answer the questions.

to help get things going for Daw_two

I would not need the interior, nor the cross bars!
so folks jump on those!

Plus, it is different than my donor which widens the market how we can help all the others on the road...

If it happens to be rust free enough to serve as a good shell, then I would like to keep the body and systems in tact
WE will see soon what daw_two thinks about the body on a dry day next week

Does the rear wiper motor work? Or is it at least intact? I'm interested if it is

How about

Rear hatch struts

Manual sunroof parts

Thanks

back next week

Hey folks.

I will process your request in order. I'm going out of town and will return to the forum on Monday to work the parts request. Before I sell any parts, I need to get the car "home" and access if it can be a shell donor. If not, then it's parting time.....

Stay Tuned for more information.

Thanks.

Visors

Email sent on the visors. I`d like a good blue drivers side with the door/mirror assembly in good shape. Thanks

I'm looking to find a good used Preglow glow plug relay. Let me know if you've got one. Thanks

I'm looking for the fuel sender.

HELP !!!!

How am I going to get this up on a trailer???
Do you think it's possible to move it forward a few feet and then somehow jack it up and put some 2x4 blocks between the bottom of the vehicle and the trailing arms to lift up the rearend?
I'm guessing I will also be building an extended ramp out of 2x4s to make it over the "hump" (ramps ^ trailer).

I wish a few other wagon owners were close by to assist.

Wish I was closer (12 hours away!) to help. Not sure what to offer though.
If you have time, go ahead and pull off the rear bumper; this is commonly damaged in loading wagon ESPECIALLY if there are backup lights still in tact!

Also if you can easily pull off the rear muffler, that always catches on a normal height wagon.

Will it matter if you load it nose first??

And if rusty, you might not be unloading until you make a scrap run.

Save the rear hatch interior handle and plastic cup if available. Also the rubber strap that buttons the top of the spare tire boot. Lastly, the manual sunroof handle and trim. These, plus the rear lights and fuel sender, are the most common requests in the wagon world :)
