My son has a lovely '88 300 CE with the mounting points for a roof rack. We'd like to find a set of the bars. I've done a little searching and they're pretty obscure: there are plenty of hits for guys searching, but I don't see many being sold.

So: any thoughts on if they're available, and a possible source? Anyone have a set kicking around?

I've been around here for about 10 years, and I don't think I've ever heard them mentioned.
The CE's too pretty to put something on it's roof anyway!

Thanks. I'll get in touch with the place in Canada and see. Those mounting points are so incredibly German that it's a shame to leave them unused.
