New in box W123 Euro Headlights DEPO + Bosch OEM Euro Headlights

For sale in CA- New Depo Euro light set, and used Bosch OEM Euro light set with missing driver side (left) lens.
I bought this set of Euro headlights to use one of the lenses for my 123 that had a missing driver side lens. It was sold as DEPO brand, but I received LUCID brand. I used the lens for a few months, and got another whole set of Bosch Euro's for my car. I am selling the DEPO set, and the Bosch set (driver side missing the lens). The DEPO set is $140.00 + shipping, and the Bosch set is $160 + shipping.

I have also found that there is no need for a special harness or wiring adapter. I just removed the plastic cover on the wiring plug, and moved the wires (I think only 2 of the 3) to different holes in the plug.

I'm interested. How are the two sets different, specifically in terms of looks/cosmetics? Does one set work better than the other functionally?

Thanks.

I've seen the Depo brand for sale on eBay and elsewhere - it seems a lot easier to come by but is an aftermarket part, not OEM. They also don't have the vacuum adjustment connections for connecting to a headlight level adjustment switch, but manual adjustments on the back of the lights like US ones. I'm not sure whether all Bosch units have the vacuum level adjustment feature or not though.

I believe replacement Bosch lenses can still be purchased new via the Classic Center or other sources, but the assemblies are harder to come by.

Bosch is a German company that makes lots of automotive components, DEPO is Taiwanese and specializes in automotive lighting. Bosch has higher value and originality but the DEPO lights are probably pretty decent too.

Thanks for your review, and good information. The DEPO lens fit perfectly on the Bosch housing, so they are a pretty good copy. The Bosch lights I have are set up for vac adjustable.

Wow! Are these still for sale? Possibly interested in the Bosch set when I get my 300D running again, which I'm hoping is soon.

3 sets of Euro lights available now

I still have the 2 sets of Euro lights available, and now have a third set. This pair of headlights is complete with the vacuum adjusters and nice Bosch lenses.

$200 + S/H/I for the set. PM or email wvobenzs@yahoo.com
