My '84 190D had a run in with a cow several months ago. I finally found a mechanic that could diagnose my alignment problems. It needs a new steering knuckle and control arm on the front drivers side. A new knuckle has to come from Germany and priced the repair at nearly the cost of another 190D.

I need a new steering knuckle for the drivers side. I can buy a new control arm, but if anyone has a good control arm also I might be interested in that.

Hi, You can get 1984 Mercedes Benz 190D Suspension Control Arm from Dorman brand and it will cost you around $105. You can see if it meets your requirement. Hope it helps.

Yeah, I'll probably go ahead and buy a new control arm in order to get the new bushings and everything. The steering knuckle can't be bought new from what I can find. Gonna need a salvage one.
