W123 OEM Heated Seat Switch & Wiring

Attached is a picture of an OEM Heated Seat Switch from a 1985 300D. A somewhat rare option. I have almost all of the wiring harness, the correct bracket that holds the plug under the seat, but not the plug and wiring that actually goes to the switch. $50.00 plus $5.35 shipping. I saw just the switch on FleaBay going for $75.00 a few months back (there were a few bids, so I do not know what the final price was, but it was at least $75.00), and that was just the switch. There are a bunch of posts and threads on retro fits for the actual heating elements in the seat. PM if interested. Thanks.

Hate to tell you, but this is not an OEM setup.

the OEM unit for the W123 has switches for right & left on the respective side of the hazard switch in the center console.

That switch is a generic on/off toggle switch, available at Radio Shack for $2.50.

There were two versions of these - old-style W123's which used the same window and seat heater switches as W116's, and new-style W123's which use the newer W126-alike style. The correct switches look like this:

How about that OEM carphone option in the older model!

I've got six of the older-style switches available, two of them barely used from the rear seat heater option, two NOS (!!), and two that have some usual degree of wear from the front. The black plastic surround is broken on one of those two. Both switches function correctly and light up when switched on. I am willing to sell them if there's interest, but not any wiring otherwise.

OK .... I learned something today. Disregard the post and I assume the items are Fleabay that were getting bids are off the mark. LOL. Thanks to VP of Snark (where ever that is and Casey).

Hello, how much would you want for the switches? Do you know where I could find other parts I might need for the seats? Lloyd 719-310-9530
