FS: Re-upholstered Tan W123 Front Driver + Passenger Seat
Selling as a pair of matching seats only: driver and passenger seat together.
PM me with your offer! I can put these on a pallet and ship them anywhere! I'm not sure if this is real leather, synthetic leather or vinyl or MB Tex or what. They look and feel like leather, though. These beautiful looking seats look to have been recently and professionally re-upholstered a few years ago with new springs and fabric and are SUPER-COMFORTABLE -- you will not believe the difference you'll feel when you sit in these. Amazing support and cushion. Fantastic. Seats come installed and mounted on the slide rails. No tears or rips! No funky odors! Driver seat has no armrest, but it can be added in later if you choose. If you are a local buyer, I can remove your existing seats and install these seats in your car. |

Any idea how much these would cost to ship to 76028?

Would you mind shippng these thru Greyhound ? Greyhound from Cali to the sunny south would be about $80 bucks. You would need a big box for each seat. I actually have 2 boxes which will fit a W123 seat. Can you give more details about when the seats were re-done ? Further, are the seat slides / glides the 300D style or 240D style. The seats themselves are the older style type, e.g., 5 pleats vs. 6 pleats and with the wire rimmed net holder in the back vs. plastic. Also, do you know who supplied the new seat covers and pads ? Was it world upolstry ?

would have been
If these would have been the 1984-1985 pattern (6 pleats), I would already have them at my house.
I'm still looking........for any color of nice skins....must be 6 pleats.

That's how I'd ship it. Greyhound shipping for the pair will be about $250 with oversized boxes and careful packaging.
I don't know when the seats were re-done, but they look to have been done within the past few years. They're in excellent condition. I don't have any receipts or information on who did the upholstery, because I've only had the car that these came in from 5 months. It was a 240D that had a bad engine. Someone must've spent a lot of $ on these seats because they're really nice. They also replaced the dash in the 240D as well (too bad they neglected the engine care!). I've sat in many w123 seats and these are by far, the most comfortable. Quote:

Well, I would PM you and make you an offer but $250.00 shipping and handling would be a show stopper for me. I have shipped a ton parts (literally) thru Greyhound during the past few years, and unless their prices have skyrocketed in the past month, then I highly doubt these would cost $250.00. The $80 bucks, maybe $100 would be more accurate. If you are able to re-visit the shipping deal, I will make you an offer. Thanks for the super fast update and information, however.

I'm not sure what's your budget without shipping?
I have quotes for LTL freight on a pallet anywhere from about $200-350 depending on where exactly you're located and if you can pick up at a truck terminal. If you can find a cheaper price to ship, by all means you can do so and pay them directly. You can use origin zip code 91103. I can put these on 2 pallets for $20 per pallet with straps and cardboard wrapping/packaging. The price is for the greyhound shipping cost + 10% taxes + large boxes + packaging materials + labor. The base shipping cost is only one element of the cost. Boxes of good quality are not cheap that will fit these seats, and I want to be certain the seats are protected with bubble wrap too inside. |

Hmmm. let me think about it. You're right about boxes. I got 2 which would be perfect but I am in SC and you're in Cali....that stinks. I think putting them in a box and paying for $500 worth of insurance is a better bet at $80-$100 vs. $250-$300. New seat covers MB Tex can be bought for under $750.00. Let me mull it over ... Thanks.
