FS: W114 250C 280C Short/Euro Bumpers VGC
Hey Guys,
For Sale: a pair of Euro Bumpers w/ mounting hardware off of a 1973 Mercedes (W114) 280C Coupe, though they should fit the W115 sedan as well (I believe). These are the coveted short bumpers to replace the ugly "park-bench" bumpers on your later 250/280 C/CE/E. These bumpers are in terrific condition, including the rubber. The front is a 9/10 and the rear is 8/10. For local pick-up (Alexandria VA) I'm asking $400 for the pair.

Euro Bumpers for sale
I have just joined forum. I recently bought a 1974 280C and like everyone else it seems love the Euro style bumpers from the 1973. Do you still have theee available, and if so do you also have the lower set of front bumpers as well?

I do still have them available. I'm not 100% sure if I have the lower bumpers or not. I'm thinking not, but I'd have to check. Are you local to me? (Washington DC area) Thanks!

At the risk of being somewhat of a spoilsport, bumpers from pre-1974 chassis W114/115 cars are not a bolt-on installation for the 74-76 cars. Both the mounting points and the body sheet metal of the 74-76 version differ from the 68-73 version.

Hmm. I did not know that.
But with so many people converting, it can't be that difficult of a solution.
