FS: Sway Bar for W123

Howdy,

Got an extra Sway Bar for Sale. The coveted 300TD wagon Sway Bar which provides a much stiffer ride for the W123 sedan. Depending on the one you currently have, you will get an extra mm or 2.

$175.00 shipped CONUS. I got a post on STD and there's a few threads on it there also. PM me if interested. Thanks.

since we are here in the discussion.
Can you list the different measurements in this bar vs a sedan?

I don't think so but is there any difference in the sway bar links used?

Links ? The Sway Bar terminates no differently ? It's just thicker. Not sure of your question.

Ok, that answers links. Thanks, never installed before but my next project
What is the different thickness of a wagon swaybar?

I have seen many folks make this up-grade but why?
How does this affect the ride?

Got it.

Yes, it is thicker and it does really improve the stiffness and feel. The swaybar will be 1mm or 2mm thicker. Just depends on what you currently got. I will get a picture of the mic on the bar to show you what the heck I am talking about ...

BTW -- if the car OK ?

Thicker sway bar makes for flatter handling. Also might affect the ride on uneven surfaces, but that isn't a great consideration. Bigger front sway bar will make the car tend to understeer (more rear grip) and a bigger rear sway bar will make the car tend to oversteer (more front grip).

On a slightly related note, I have a wagon. What do i do?? :'(

Pictures

I need to figure out how to get a better picture to capture the part #. This is indeed the 25mm sway bar taken from a 1985 wagon. Thanks.
