1980 Mercedes 300td for sale
 

Hello fellow forum users,
I am regretfully selling my project......Due to my profession I must relocate and i can not afford to bring her with me! (shipping) so, up for sale either as a parts car or a project car is my 1980 Mercedes 300td wagon for $1000. Currently, there is a 1979 300d turbocharged 5cylinder diesel under the bonnet w/a cylinder knock, 4 speed manual transmission behind that, custom drive line by Portland drive line service, conventional rear suspension.
I also have an entire other engine from a 1981 300d turbocharged that recently got completely machined/cleaned with new cylinder sleeves pressed/decked. I was planning on replacing the '79 with it, but i got to relocate.

PARTS:
-machined cylinder block w/new sleeves.
-set of 5 pistons with rods-standard size, matches block.
-cleaned cylinder head.
-complete gasket kit (top&bottom)
-new camshaft.
-polished balanced crank shaft(standard main & rod bearing)
-4 doors w/no rust, installed manual hand cranks.

However, these parts are not included with car, and as all you Mercedes lovers know...all those parts are not cheap to have machined, but i will give you a hell of a deal if you take it all!!!

I would prefer to sell the car whole and not have to part it out piece by piece. I do not have much time to get this done....I will be heading out by the 1st of the year. If you are interested and have questions or would like photos please let me know. I am located in Corvallis, Oregon.

A price and pictures will get you some action!!!!

The price is mentioned in the ad, $1000 for the car and if anyone wants the newly machined engine, I make a hell of a deal for the whole package. As for pictures, I have great difficulties uploading any images on this site! Until i figure that out, if folks want pics I will have to email them.
