WTB 240 D Motor
I recently purchased a very nice '74 240D with an engine problem, originally believed to be a head gasket. Turns out problem is much deeper. Looking for a replacement motor in good running condition. This car was advertised for sale about a year ago in Bring your Trailer. Check out the ad. If anyone has a diesel motor and wants a car, alternatively I will sell the car, but my preference is to get her running, beautiful car no rust,
Thanks, Rusty |

What are you hoping to get if you decide to sell the car? The original asking price at bring a trailer ($6750) might be high for a car without a running engine.

240D
I'm located in Virginia Beach. If I'm not successful with finding a good motor. I would sell the car for 3500$, new tires and new blower motor etc, about 3K worth of work about a year ago.
This car is as rust free as one you will find, as clean underneath as on top. regards, rusty cel: 757 469-7219 |

Found a motor
Thanks to all that have responded to my request for an engine. I have found one through a fellow Pelican that should fill the bill.
Thanks again, Rusty |
