1991 300 sl radiator

wtb radiator for 91 300sl, would like to find one that has been replaced as my 21 year old suffered a broken neck. the posts i read show a fix but the sizes will not work on mine, seems like a poopy deal. whole new radiator for 2" of broke plastic lol.

Your car uses the short rad with ~ 3" tall spacers on the bottom. A tall rad / shroud from a later 300 or 320 ( SL ) should fit if you pull the spacers but I have not tried it. The V8 rad won't work unless you move the lower hose to the right.

Any good sources for these? My 500 needs one. $500 new seems steep

The rad for my 97 SL320 was $400 last year. It was an actual OE BEHR that had the Mercedes numbers ground off.
