What I have here are the major components for a front big brake upgrade to many 124 cars, some 201 cars and some 129 cars. Procured these after following GSXR's descriptions and info about 124 brake upgrades.


There is a pair of excellent condition 334 X 32 mm Brembo calipers, these are what is referred to as “Silver Arrows” (but they're black, not silver!), these calipers are perfectly functional in every way, they are ready to install as is (or you could renew the piston seals if you're a perfectionist). Each caliper comes with a brake hose in fine condition, brake bleeder screws, the brake pad wear sensor connector wire pigtail is still installed and in perfect condition, both caliper securing bolts are also included. In addition to the calipers there is a full set of very serviceable OE JURID brake pads (est. 4-5 mm of pad thickness, two with wear sensors installed), each with the anti-rattle shims, the two caliper dual-piston shims, the two brake pad securing clips and four brake pad pins.


There are a few scrapes and scratches on the caliper's black paint coating but they are small. You would need to obtain the correct rotors but I figure most people will have their own preference for style and make of those.


These came off an SL 500 but I'm not sure what year. I had originally intended to eventually install them on my 87 300D turbo diesel, which was wrecked a couple months ago.


In addition to the giant brake caliper package I also have a pair of lower control arms that would be required to allow the larger brake rotors. These are Mercedes OE stamped with the Tri-Star that have the angled end non-replaceable ball joints. These are new, never been installed, they have a few little dings of their paint but it's just shelf rash from bumping around and being moved over the couple years I've had them.


The part numbers for these are MB # 124 330 36 07 & 124 330 37 07 they are equipped with factory Sportline bushings the EPC lists them for 124.031 &124.032 and 124.051 & 124.052 that includes Sportline suspension 300Es, CEs, 300CE-24, AMG 300CE 3.4, E320s, 320 CE, E 36 AMG. It is my understanding that the the difference between these LCA and the standard ones is they are beefier and have stiffer bushings, but the have the same geometry and dimensions.


I would like to sell all these parts together for $900 and that should be a savings of at least $300-400 for someone looking to upgrade to these parts, the brakes are used but the LCAs are new OE Mercedes. Shipping will be $50 or less to anywhere is the US but Hawaii and Alaska. I'd consider selling either the calipers or the LCA separately depending on the offer.

The standard late 124 LCAs Genuine MB are priced from Pelican at $484.75 each side, they don't list these specific Sportline LCAs but they probably wouldn't be any less expensive.
