Last Call Los Angeles Area W108 280S parts car going to scrap yard

My 1968 280 S will be going to the junkyard SOON. If there is anything you want to pull yourself from the car contact me. Cheap cheap cheap. I'm not going to ship anything bigger than a shoe box or remove anything that takes me move than 10 minutes.

ScooterABC-
The sidemarkers on my 220D have cracked, and yours look to be a similar design. Could you check the following for me: To remove the lens, do you have to undo a bolt from inside the body/trunk, or is there a screw from the outside? I am trying to find the type which bolt from the inside and which are only reflectors with no lightbulbs. If yours match mine and aren't cracked, I would be interested, even if they are faded.

Also, and I hate to be that guy who doesn't follow directions, could you tell me about the condition of your steering wheel? It looks pretty decent, but it was hard to tell. Mine is awfully cracked. I think it is structurally okay, but just not great to look at. Anyway, if the steering wheel is in good condition, I might need to find a reason to drive south about 3 hours. Thanks for the info.

Andrew

My 1987 300TD wagon was sold and my 2003 W210 E320 wagon was totaled (sheds tear).

Scott,

Do you still have the horns for this car? If so, do you know if they worked?

I'll take them if they are functional. Let me know how much you want for them...

Thanks!

I am pretty sure mine attach from the inside. The are reflector only. But they look after-market to me. I'll check when I get home.

It has cracks in multiple locations, plus I probably need it to get the car out of my back yard...
