WTB: 240D auto trans crossmember

Doing a 4-speed conversion in a 300TD and need a 240d auto crossmember.

If the 240 cross member is the same as a w123 300d auto, then I probably have one.

ridgerunner, thanks very much for the offer, but they are different. 240d auto and 300d euro manual are the same, so these work perfectly for the 4-speed swap in a 300d.

just for the record, they are not the same, they are just close. much better than modifying the 240D manual crossmember as was the first avenue. Mine always needed 3/8 worth of spacer washers on each bolt to work quietly.

According to MB EPC, the 240D Automatic crossmember IS the same part number as the 300D (Non turbo) Manual European spec vehicle. Since the mounting location of a Turbo and Non turbo engine are the same, then YES the 240D auto crossmember is the perfect fit for a Turbo to 4 speed conversion.
