FS: w123 Blue Front Seats --- pair; both Driver's and Passenger's
 

Yes, forum bargain hunters. I have a pair of w123 front seats in Blue. Are they perfect? No. Are they in really good condition? Yes. The driver's seat has one area of blemish that fits inside 1/3 of a w124 hood star. Please note: a w124 hood star is smaller than a w123 hood star. The passenger's seat has a similiar blemish area plus a scratch. Springs are all intact. Saggy nets are easy to repair.

Priced at $250 for the pair or $150 each. I will not split these up unless the first two people responding each want a different seat. I have a trip planned in 3 weeks, so delivery is possible depending on your location.

How bout a shot of the two hood stars side by side Mr. Trivia? Not that I don't believe you, I just don't have a 124 star handy.:D

Well.....the star assemblies are different but not exactly how I remembered. No suprise though --- my memory just isn't what it use to be. In the pics below, the star attached to the hood is the w123 star attached to this car: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/319593-1984-300d-light-ivory-unique-car.html



Here are the findings:

1. The actual outside diameter of both stars seems equal.
2. The gauge of the w123 star seems a tiny bit bigger than the w124 star.
3. The base of the w123 is bigger than the w124.
4. The w124 star is labelled as such with the Mercedes trademark star and the numbers 124.
