1976 Mercedes 240D Parts Car
 

I'm selling a 1976 Mercedes 240D parts car with Manual transmission. I bought the car as a project and don't want to continue with it. Most of the interior is still there. The engine started for me a couple of times, but i cant get it to start again, from those times it ran everything seemed ok but if you let go of the gas it would shut off. It cranks over but does not start. I changed fuel, fuel filters, valve cover gasket, glow plugs, bled the fuel system, im just tired of i. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, has rust just before the wheel wells.

Price is 1000 OBO

I am willing to trade for Ruckus, or a Jon boat or any other type of boat

I don't want to get rid of it either most of the car is there man aside form a few interior pieces, its pretty complete but i need money for my other car and school so that kind of takes priority for me. I thought it was gonna be a quick fix but apparently i don't know a lot about these haha.

Does it have the aluminum wheels with the three white stripes? I think the 240D came with them. If so please save the hub cap clips before you send it to the crusher. I need them...

Hopefuly someone buys the whole car, if not I will pay a reasonable price for the hub cap clips.

I've already taken the hub caps off once before and I'm pretty sure these are just steelies underneath.

Who ever buys the car, I'd buy the whole carpet set if it was in decent shape and in bamboo.
