W116/W123 Seatbelts

I just listed a bunch of seatbelts, so here goes. All of them are also on eBay ( w111300sd | eBay ) if someone wants to make an offer. They range from decent to aged-but-cheap. Each set will fit into a medium Priority Mail flat rate box and I can ship internationally ($60 to Australia or United Kingdom).

This is a set of front and rear seatbelts removed from a Euro-spec 1977 450SE. How they differ from the USA belts, I don't know, other than the label has the E-code, not Federal. These should fit all years of W116 and W123, however are the 1975-1979 style. Perfect for adding rear shoulder belts to a car made without them. I am even including the large version D-rings that fit in the C-pillars.

You are buying these more for the rear belts than the fronts, because the webbing on the front belts is worn (the webbing on the rear belts is great). There is some rust, but not bad for the age. They should clean up to look presentable. I like to use a gentle cleaner like diluted Simple Green to clean the webbing, and then apply 303 Aerospace Protectant. What you see is what you get, no guarantees, though the belts seem to function. The front seat receivers are not included, nor is the hardware for the front belts. $50 plus shipping.

This is a set of front seatbelts removed from a 1977 300D. These should fit all years of W116 and W123, however are the 1975-1979 style. They are functional, and the webbing is in good condition. They should clean up well. I like to use a gentle cleaner like diluted Simple Green to clean the webbing, and then apply 303 Aerospace Protectant. The plastic part of the driver side receiver is worn, but the unit still functions. What you see is what you get, no guarantees. $45 plus shipping.

This is a set of rear seatbelts removed from a 1980 300SD. These should fit all years of W116 and W123, however are the 1975-1980 style. You could add rear shoulder belts to a car made without them, though you would need mounting bolts and the D-ring trim that fits in the C-pillars.

They are rusty, but the webbing seems okay. I like to use a gentle cleaner like diluted Simple Green to clean the webbing, and then apply 303 Aerospace Protectant. What you see is what you get, no guarantees, though the belts seem to function. $25 plus shipping.

This is a front seatbelt removed from a 1980 300SD. It will fit either driver or passenger side, and should fit all years of W116 and W123, however is the 1980-1984 style and won't fit later year receivers. It seems functional, but the webbing is a bit worn on the side and the chrome on the buckle is flaking off. If you want to clean it up, I like to use a gentle cleaner like diluted Simple Green to clean the webbing, and then apply 303 Aerospace Protectant. A receiver is not included. What you see is what you get, no guarantees. $15 plus shipping.

This is a rear seatbelt. I think it came from a 1979 300SD. It will fit either driver or passenger side, and should fit all years of W116 and W123, however is the 1975-1980 style. It seems functional, and the webbing looks good. If you want to clean it up, I like to use a gentle cleaner like diluted Simple Green to clean the webbing, and then apply 303 Aerospace Protectant. Normal rust/pitting/corrosion for the age. No mounting bolts are included. What you see is what you get, no guarantees. $15 plus shipping.

All belts are sold, except for the ones in posts #5 and #6. I am willing to sell them cheap. Shipping will be about $12 for one or both.
