Parting out '79 240D
 

I got a 1979 240D, it may be a '78 actually, last night. I picked it up for its 4speed setup, so nothing 4speed related is for sale but everything else is.

The car is very rusty, Horizon Blue over Cream interior.

Has crank windows, power sunroof, and AC.

The car was run on a two veggie oil setup, so any engine parts will be offered at a heavy discount. ;)

I'll post pictures shortly, the car is in Columbus, Ohio.

How are the headlights & fog lights? Do you have the DIESEL tag that goes on the right side of the trunk?

The replicable plastic part is ruined on both headlights. Ill pull the lights out and see how the rest of the headlights are.

Yes I do have the diesel emblem. Ill check its condition, $10 if its good?

I might have some use for various interior pieces once I get to the restoration of my dad's 240D. How do the window cranks look?

If the a/c and the compressor are working....I need the compressor:P

I've never seen it run, its got a York in the trunk that isn't seized but it doesn't feel amazing. I'd sell it cheap but its pretty heavy.

The plastic inserts on the window cranks are crumbling, I don't want to sell them separate of the regulators because I like to convert 123s to manual windows.
