I've received hoods shipped via Greyhound for pretty low rates before bundled up in cardboard...just FYI in case you hadn't considered it.

Funny, I sent an SEC hood via greyhound and it arrived smashed to pieces.

Sad. did they cover the damage? I've had two 116 hoods and a trunk lid arrive from the southeast without issue.

Nope, I gave the buyer a euro bumper to make it right. Hopefully he was able to fix it. The pictures he sent look like they tied a rope to it and dragged it behind the bus for 1000 miles.

w123 Euro parts?
Hello, you! Hope all is well with you.
Do I remember correctly that you focused exclusively on the larger of our era of MB diesels? I remembered your fondness for Euros (with good cause, if that diplomatic baby you brought to one of our tech sessions was any example!), but I thought I'd ask. Roy suggested I could rid myself of the "servo from he11" on John's 300D n/a that we're restoring with a completely mechanical unit from a Euro. THAT would make life just about perfect, since summer's starting to heat up. If you have any ideas on sourcing one, let me know, please.

I'm also kicking around the idea of selling the 280TE so I may not end up doing the conversion. If it does not happen, I'll let you know. Thanks
