OM603 Heads #14 and #22 For Sale
 

I am selling my spare heads, I love my 87 and will be driving it as long as I can, but with 260k and some rust if my head ever goes, I probably won't invest into having one of these heads put on, so my spares are for sale:

#22 SOLD

I have a #14 that came off my other 1987 300D with 189,000 miles. Appeared to be the original head, I bought the car wrecked for parts.

I just took both heads to a machine shop and had them pressure tested and had the surfaces checked.

Both heads passed both tests.

Both heads include the prechambers, lifters, and the cam and cam gear. In the pictures the cam and lifters are not in the heads so the valves stay closed but the lifters were numbered when removed and will come with the head.

Asking:

$1,000 shipped in the continental US for the #22

$600 shipped in the continental US for the #14

As stated in the ad it already went to a machine shop and it passed.


Both the 22 and the 14 were tested and both are level and crack free.

Yup, we're on our way back to Virginia with the #22 head and some other needed parts. Paul is very cool and shared slot of goon info about the job I have ahead of me. Next time I'm back your way I do want to see that 190!

.........in the 190. Damn cloudburst resulted in us having to cut our ride short, but it was great. Paul has a standing offer I believe under the Vintage Mercedes section, should anybody want to checkout his 190 and take it for a spin. Take him up on it if you happen to be passing thru Central Ohio. You'll be telling everybody at work about it afterwards.
