Anyone have a W140 OM603 oil pickup tube assembly? I'm hearing I need to create some sort of hybrid of a W126 and a W140 design when I swap the W140 pan onto the W126 engine. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

There's a 3.5liter OM603 in the junkyard here, but I have no idea how difficult it would be to get the oil pickup tube off. Don't you have to raise the engine to get the oil pan off? If so, that's probably not going to happen since jacks are NOT allowed in the junkyard --- just saying.

Nope; oops --- I guess I misunderstood your original request. It's a 350SDL, w126 and the engine is NOT complete; #17 head is gone; trap oxidizer pipe is gone; radiator is gone; hard fuel lines are gone; passenger front seat back is gone; dash is gone I wonder where that stuff went
