WANT TO TRADE PLEASE TAKE A PEEK

Howdy,

W123 Chassis Application, 4 door sedan

Does anyone have a real parts car in which the body has no real value other than scrap ?

I need the sheet metal which goes around the master cylinder -- the firewall. So, in other words, a 11" x 13" piece cut around where the master goes. I will swap that for my injector service. If someone wants to do this, please do not butcher or deform the metal you are chopping out. I still have T Walgamuth's old car at VSTECH which could be a candidate, but I doubt I will have time from now to Thanksgiving to make a trip up there. I am booked with other travel stuff now. That piece of metal will fit inside a medium flat rate box from the USPS. I think its around $13 bucks to ship CONUS. I will pay for all shipping too. So, just the time to chop out the metal and no money out of your pocket. Include a set of rebuildable injectors (set of 5), and I will provide a complete service for them and shipped back to you in roughly a week.

Thanks,

That is a deal of a trade. Let me take a look at mine and see what it looks like. I am headed that way today to ship out some parts and probably pull a few more before the rain hits. I will get you a picture and proceed from there. Thanks.

I have the 300CD still but I think I will need that for my 39 Studebaker.

Hi Tom,

I want a sedan since I want zero possibility of any difference, even if it's a hair. Thanks aways ... You got me thinking about a 1941 Packard. I am a Packard nut from the late 1980's - early 90's ... LOL.

I want to measure twice and cut once. Here is a photo, can you put it in MS paint or another program and draw a line roughly where you want it cut? I don't want to butcher it and give you 11x13 in the wrong direction.

Hey Jab0028,
You're the first to respond to the thread. So, if you can cut it out and ship on Monday, you're the "winner" so to speak. I really dont know how to use MS Paint. So, if you could draw it for me with the following description, then I could say yes or no, or adjust fire. I would llke the right hand side of the metal to run along the cut from where the fuse box was located. That is the up-and-down cut for the right side. The outside arc of the hole where the vacuum lines is the left side up and down cut. Right under the weather trim is the top cut. And, for the bottom, you could use the sway bar as the reference mark as a straight line.

I will try to play with the system and figure out how to use that program.

Thanks again,

OK, I want to clarify the swap. This is for my injector service. It does not include new nozzles. If you have new nozzles, you can send those and I will rebuild with those new nozzles. If you have a bum nozzle or two, then I will throw in some OK used ones I got. Not all 5, but a few. Mine dont pee, et cet. USED Germans. I currently have a tub of around 200 used nozzles, and I know from prior experience that 10% are pretty good shape.
