please help me identify this part ... a spoiler?
Hello, I have a 1992 3003 2.6 and the piece below the front bumper is broken. I don't know what the part is called. It feels like very hard plastic material. The left side side of it chipped off when I got stuck in the snow, but it looks like someone took a bite out it. I am attaching a picture. Thank you for help you can provide.

Here is another picture from the right side that might be more clear. Thank you.

I'm not sure if that's called a bumper cover or spoiler. I almost sure that that is going to be one piece with the black strip and license plate 'part' being added on. A pick & pull might be a good place to find a replacement.

Edited to add: I found it! I searched for "bumper cover" and it looks just like the plastic part in my picture! And the best part is that it's only about $180 ... I'm hoping to take this picture and the URL to the shop that works on my car! I'm so happy ... every time I looked at that hole, I'd get frustrated! Thanks so much! Pick and pull is a generic term for a self service auto salvage yard. Prices are very good as they have near zero labor costs.
Also have a look at car-part.com it is a online inventory of USA ( and some of Canada ) wide salvage yards that subscribe to the car-part inventory control service. Sometimes you can find used body parts in the same color as what you are looking for to save paint costs. |
