doing the 4spd conversion on w123 - I need the automatic cross mount from a 240d. thanks

If you think the mount from a 300td will fit, I have one already unbołted sitting in the back of my wagon.

I removed the automatic in my 240D, but am not really sure what this part looks like, do you have a picture. Thanks.

It's basically the thing that supported the rear of the tranny at the rubber transmission mount. Bolted into the floor with four bolts.

The above mount pictured will not work for a 4-spd swap in a 300D. that mount is for a 300D with an automatic.

You need the cross mount from a 240D automatic.
the left picture in the below thread is the mount you want. the large one with the 4 holes. the long skinny one is for a 240D with a 4-spd manual. do not use this one for your swap.

Rumor has it you can redrill the incorrect mounts, and then weld bracing on it-if you can't find the correct crossmember
