I swapped my 3.5 liter shortblock out for a 3.0 shortblock, and I opted to use the transmission from the 3 liter car because the shift points are tuned to the 3 liter's powerband.

As a result, I now have a good transmission for a 350sdl that I do not have a use for.

The car had 143,000 miles on it when I removed the trans. I serviced the trans a few months prior to doing the engine swap; when I dropped the pan, the fluid was very red and the pan was very clean. This was one of the smoothest shifting 711 transmissions I've ever driven after I cleaned up the vacuum lines and adjusted the bowden cable. Opting to swap it out was really a tough choice.

The transmission did leak a little bit from the selector shaft, I'd refresh the O-rings if I were going to put it in another car.

Asking $350. I am located in a north suburb of Columbus, Ohio. I do have a commercial FedEx freight account so that's a possibility if you are interested in having it shipped.
