Look on Ebay for a car with "soft top only".

Oh, funny guys huh?. J/K!
I was the winning bidder of 3 of those self storage lockers at an auction for delinquent payment a couple years ago and this was in there. Had to haul it a M/B dealer just to find out what it was for. I'm adding a 3rd car garage so I need to sell my clutter to make room. So, what do these sell for?. Bob.

If its in excelent condition..about $800-$1000. The one thing you need to check for..is it warped? If stored incorrectly, the tops can warp.........thus decreasing their value sharply to a living room coffee table status. Of course there is another solution.........buy a car to go under it!!!!

Thumbs up

Thanks for the answers. Hell, I'd take half that just to be rid of it.

If you are a member of MBUSA, you can list the top in the parts section of the STAR MAGAZINE for free. This will probably be your best chance to sell it. Good Luck!

You might give it a try on Ebay. The previous owner of my 500SL "lost" the hardtop. I paid $800 + shipping for mine about 45 days ago. It matches my car color so I felt it was worth it.

Just my $.02

Could SMALK's car be the one that goes with your hardtop??? I probably would take the hardtop to one of those shipping places, or call first re: the size and weight. Orrrrrrrrr.........you could always buy a car to go underneath it!

They had it professionally crated and shipped. The shipping cost from the east coast was about $500.00! Yikes! The damn crate was huge and had all sorts of padding and even a tilt sensitive sensor in case the "this end up" wording was ignored.

Nope, your top was not for my car (unless of course either my car was white or your top was red)!

Good luck!
