WTB 90-93 300D 2.5 ELR ECU computer
 

Need to buy an ELR / ECU for an 5cyl turbo OM602 300D. Swapped them with a friends car and it fixed my car but he obviously needs his back.

This is the smaller box that sits behind the battery in front of the ABS computer.

Depending on price Id buy two if you've got them.

These rarely go bad (if ever). Have you checked what the computer is reporting?

I have not, I do not have the tool.

But barely running with one and perfectly running with another makes me think its the ECU.

I sent ya a PM. No reply. I've got one out of a 92 but need the part #.

Have you tried resoldering the board joints. They go bad on the diesels from all the shaking. If the board is already bad, you've got nothing to lose.

I'll get the part number tomorrow, the dr is right, its an eds not an ELR.

There is a different part number 90-91 and 92-93. I will figure out which one I need tomorrow and reply to pms.

As for resoldering the joints, something I considered but I wanted a working one to put the car on the road so I can mess with the bad board in my spare time.

I posted this thread from the road I was driving to California from ohio then was on California a few days didn't have a computer. Sorry I have not replied to pms.
